Tower Bridge
One of London's Top attractions is the Tower Bridge. Built in the early 1900's the bridge took 8 years to build and used the power of 432 construction workers. Part of the original design included walkways that went up the side and across the top of the bridge. This was so that foot traffic would not have to wait to cross when the bridge was opened for boats. However in 1910 the high level walkways were closed due to a lack of use. In 1982 when the Tower Bridge Exhibition opened, the public were once again able to walk across the top of the bridge.
